Winchester Ghost Tours

Supernatural Tours was launched in 2006 as a company providing real ghost hunting experiences. Within a year, our passion and professionalism lead to us working with names including Richard Felix, Derek Acorah, David Wells and Colin Fry. We also ran the first ghost hunts in venues including Monks Bar, The Square Tower, Felton House, The Bursledon Brickworks and many more.

The next step of our journey saw us launch a range of innovative and theatrical ghost tours. Winchester Ghost Tours became the first to operate in the city and has worked with Hampshire Cultural Trust, Winchester City Council and with the film company behind the horror movie ‘The Winchester Mystery House’. Since launching, the tour has continued to captivate audiences from around the world.

Shortly after, we launched Southampton Ghost Tours. Working with Southampton Council we continue to feature some of the city’s historical vaults on the tours and provide exclusive ghost hunts at Tudor House. We have also worked with the Titanic Pub, Dolphin Hotel, See Southampton and continue to entertain thousands of visitors each year who are in the city to board their cruise.

Next up was Portsmouth Ghost Tours. An interactive tour around Old Portsmouth which currently begins from inside the iconic Spice Island Inn. We have hosted the tours for many groups including The Mary Rose Museum, Portsmouth Deaf School and many more.

We then launched Windsor Ghost Tours, a journey around the old royal streets of the town showcasing not just its history, but that there are plenty of haunted hotspots. The tour continues to attract audiences from around the world.

Up next were our murder mystery events! With plenty of themes, these interactive events are ones you can enjoy over and over again. They are theatrical and include a dining experience. We have run them at venues including the Mercure Southampton, Mercure Winchester, Holiday Inn and Harbour hotels.

Keen to venture in the paranormal more, we ran fairs including Halloween Fairs and Psychic fairs at a number of venues. and theatrical events including ‘Are you Afraid of the Dark?’, the horrifying Séance Experience and Zombie events.

Founders Andrew and James have built Supernatural Tours to become a trusted name in the scare attraction and tourism industry and we have an incredible reputation for providing professional events. We have also won a number of awards including ‘Best Tour’ at the Prestige Awards in 2020 and 2021, the TripAdvisor Excellent Award and TripAdvisor Choice Award, Best Tour at the SME awards and 3 awards at the Southampton Star Awards in 2019 and a further 3 in 2020 for categories including Best Tour, Best Event and  Andrew and James  were both finalists in the Leading Star Award. In 2023, we won another SME award, Prestige Award and Innovation Award.

We have also appeared on TV stations including ITV, Living TV and Solent TV, Radio Stations including Galaxy, BBC Radio, Heart, Wave 105, Voice 103.9, Ocean FM, Original FM, Power FM, Express FM, Quay Radio and publications including The Daily Express, Daily Echo, The News, Bella Magazine, Fate Magazine, Woman’s Own and in the books Haunted Southampton and Haunted Sussex.

We are passionate about what they do and continue to host our theatrical ghost tours. Between them provide scares, chilling stories and award-winning entertainment.
